Computer Too Slow? in Berkeley Heights, NJ
“Why is my computer so slow” is one of the most common things Berkeley Heights residents type before calling Larry. Startup clutter, malware, or a nearly-full hard drive are usually the real cause. A full diagnostic finds it instead of guessing, and most computers speed back up without buying a new one.
Computer Not Working? in Berkeley Heights, NJ
A frozen screen, a computer that won’t turn on, or a sudden black screen doesn’t always mean it’s dead. Larry checks cables, power, and hardware first, so Berkeley Heights households aren’t paying for a repair, or a new computer, they didn’t need.
Keep It Tuned Up in Berkeley Heights, NJ
Computers are a lot like cars: regular maintenance catches the small stuff before it becomes a breakdown. A tune-up visit covers updates, security software, backup status, and storage space in one pass, before “computer running slow after update” turns into a real problem.
Setup & Instruction in Berkeley Heights, NJ
New computer, new printer, WiFi that doesn’t reach every room: setup is one of the most requested visits in Berkeley Heights. Larry installs it correctly, moves your files over, and stays until it actually makes sense to use.
Old Computers Safely Disposed Of in Berkeley Heights, NJ
An old computer heading out with the recycling still has your personal information on the drive. Before it leaves the house, Larry wipes the storage clean and points you toward responsible recycling or donation instead.
Safe Internet for Kids in Berkeley Heights, NJ
Parents searching for a way to block inappropriate content without a constant fight over settings usually end up calling Larry. He sets up filtering at the router level so it covers every device in the home automatically.
Electronic Backups in Berkeley Heights, NJ
Losing every family photo to a dropped laptop is the exact scenario a real backup prevents. Larry sets one up and tests that a file can actually be restored, rather than just scheduling it and forgetting about it.
Virus Prevention in Berkeley Heights, NJ
A computer that’s suddenly slow, full of pop-ups, or sending strange emails to contacts is showing classic signs of malware. Larry cleans it up, sets up real-time protection, and shows you what a phishing email actually looks like.
Computers in Berkeley Heights, NJ
Trying to decide between a Mac and a PC before spending real money on either? Larry gives independent buying advice with no sales commission attached, then handles setup once it arrives.
iPads, Tablets & Phones in Berkeley Heights, NJ
A new phone or tablet is easy to buy and surprisingly tedious to set up. Larry moves your contacts and photos over and fixes any syncing issues, all in one visit.
Sonos in Berkeley Heights, NJ
Speakers that keep dropping out room to room are almost always a WiFi problem, not a Sonos problem. Larry sets up new systems and troubleshoots existing ones room by room.
Streaming TV Boxes in Berkeley Heights, NJ
Cutting the cord sounds simple until the new box, three remotes, and five apps don’t cooperate. Larry sets up Apple TV or Roku, signs in what you actually watch, and gets it down to one remote.
Smart Lighting in Berkeley Heights, NJ
Smart bulbs are easy to buy and harder to make useful. Larry sets up Hue, Lutron, or smart switches with real schedules built around how the household lives.
Security Cameras in Berkeley Heights, NJ
A camera that notifies you about every passing car isn’t protecting anything, it’s just noise. Larry plans placement around actual entry points and tunes alerts so they mean something.
Berkeley Heights is one of 37+ towns and neighborhoods where Larry makes house calls or provides remote support.
